1. Use of the platform

By accessing DE you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be 18+ and legally able to enter contracts.

2. Accounts and verification

You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information and for safeguarding your credentials. We may verify credentials, affiliations and resources before granting access to certain features.

3. User content and projects

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant DE a limited licence to host, display and process it solely to operate the platform. Project briefs are anonymised before exposure to other users.

4. Intellectual property and team agreements

DE provides templates and infrastructure for shared IP/patent/rights agreements. The substantive agreement is between team members. Each member is responsible for obtaining their own legal advice. DE is not a party to your agreement and does not claim ownership of your IP.

5. Fees

Fees, where applicable, are described on the Pricing page. We may update pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Misrepresentation of identity, credentials or resources.
• Attempts to de-anonymise uploaders.
• Infringing third-party IP or confidentiality obligations.
• Use of the platform for unlawful research or activities.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DE and ChordexBio disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may close your account at any time; certain records (e.g., signed agreements, audit logs) are retained as required.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to ChordexBio’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via the platform or email.
